The purpose of this web site is to provide access to the Atlas of Missouri Ecoregions. The Atlas provides maps and descriptions of four ecological Sections, 31 Subsections and 264 Landtype Associations. The atlas is intended to serve as a tool for understanding these ecosystems and as an ecological framework for natural resources inventory, planning and management.
You can download portable document format(.pdf) files of each ecoregion section, subsection, landtype association or the introduction. You can also download the compressed file that contains the complete Atlas of Missouri Ecoregions. Use the "Continue" button below and follow the instructions located on the interactive map display to view/download section, subsection and landtype association pdf files. Use the "Introduction" button to view/download the Introduction to the Atlas. Use the "Complete Book" button to download a compressed file of the entire Atlas.
